Catawba Soccer Academy
Description: Catawba Soccer Youth Academy offers Academy level soccer for the U8 through U12 age groups (8, 9, 10 and 11 year olds). We have the ability to roster younger players on a case by case basis. The Academy is designed to develop committed young soccer players and to promote their love of the game. The emphasis is fun and enjoyment while preparing our players for the future challenges of the game. The Academy will stress player development. If we focus on developing the player and putting them in the best training situations with our best coaches, winning will come.

| All teams play both a fall and spring schedule. The first date of training for the fall season will be mid-August (TBD), and the last day of training will be mid-November. A more specific list of training sessions dates and times will be released in July to the teams. The spring season will begin in mid-Febuary and run through mid-May | |

$550 for the whole season (Fall & Spring) - does not include uniform or individual team fees. Team fees consist of the following: cost of officials, tournaments and coach’s travel expenses (all divided by the number of players per team). |

| There are usually five or six Saturday events scheduled. Teams play two games on each of those Saturdays at the same location. Both games are generally scheduled to occur between 8 am and 1 pm. A tournament will be scheduled for both pre-season and post season for these teams. Matches are generally local: Charlotte, Concord, Lenoir, Hickory, Statesville, Mooresville area. Home events will be held at Catawba Soccer field, in Salisbury as that is the home location for Catawba Soccer Youth Academy. | |
| Training | |
| All training sessions will be held at Catawba College Soccer Field. Training for all teams will run twice a week, Monday through Thursdays. Sessions will run about an hour and a half long and occur between 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. | |
| Uniforms | |
| We are currently evaluating new uniform packages for the 2016-17 season; although the package cost is not set, hopefully it will be in the $50-75 range and consist of 2 jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks, and warm-up jacket/sweatshirt. | |
